New Theme and Mix: Rainy Day Mix #1

Hey Guys,

Here’s a new mix: The Rainy Day Mix. I know what your thinking: really? its like 1,090,873° outside with no chance of rain. So, here’s the deal. It might be freakin’ hot outside, but it’s bound to rain eventually, right? I mean, we can only hope for some kind of relief from this wretched weather. Anyway, here’s the mix. With all of these songs, you can almost hear the pitter-patter of a slow rain outside your window, or rain of the thunderous variety as it beats down upon your car or house. The mix is pretty chill, but– not unlike a rainstorm– it is not without moments of rise and fall. I hope you can enjoy it, if not while it is raining, then at least with the hope for rain.

New 4 Disk Super Awesome Roadtrip Mix!

Hey guys,

I was trying to think of a new mix theme and was having trouble, so I asked a couple of people and a roadtrip theme was suggested. I thought about it for a while and decided it would be difficult to make a roadtrip themed mix. Then I decided I would suck it up and give it a try. And then I ended up with 4 disks and 4 hours of music, which I believe is the perfect roadtrip length– especially for someone who drives from Dallas to Little Rock on a pretty regular basis. Roadtrips are kind of how my mix-making began. Every time I go on a long drive, I’ll make a gigantic mix of my favorite songs with hopes of not feeling the need to skip any of them as they come up on the playlist. This mix is a little bit different, though. All 4 disks are intentional in order of tracks and type of song and genre of music. All of the disks have a little bit of everything. Some tracks are instrumental, some are folky, some are hard rock, some are hip-hop, and so on. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the mix(es).
